Tiredness. I was unpleasantly awakened around 9 am unlike my usual 12pm awakening. I have to familiarize myself once again with that drowzy, incoherent state as next week approaches. August 10 starts the last year of high school. In about an hour I have to register at Phoenix for 7th period classes. (Technically I'm 1 credit from being a senior but once I get that out of the way 1st semester, I'm on track for graduation.)
DJ leaves to fucking Washington and probably some other states in the north-western area on Wednesday and will not be back for another month. My grandparents' departure to Lebanon is this Saturday and I believe they will be away from a little over a month.

Well it officially feels as if today is the last day of summer. The last summer I'll be here, awaiting another gruesome year of shitty high school. Last summer under the same roof as my mother. The future is coming fast and I just hope I'm ready for it. I certainly could not wait for it 2 and 3 years ago. Even as a 7 year old in second grade I remember waking up in the morning and wondered a much longer would it be until I was a "twelfth grader". When I figured out it wouldn't be for another ten years I was slightly disappointed I'd have to wait for so long.
So here it is now, 10 years later.
